Thermoplastic Closed Surface Belting

ThermoDrive thermoplastic belting with 100% closed surfaces are well suited for hygienic food-processing applications.  At first glance, they may appear to be traditional flat belts. What makes them significantly better is the patented ThermoDrive positive drive system.  Unlike traditional flat belts, these belts drive on sprockets like a modular plastic belt and are not under tension, enabling easy lifting for conveyor cleaning and solving nearly all traditional flat belt problems.

Plastic Link Style Belting

Plastic link style belting is self-lubricating, requires no maintenance, and is easy to clean and repair.   Injection-molded plastic belting modules are interlocked by plastic rods, which provide belt strength and durability.  Damaged belting sections can be easily and inexpensively replaced.  Belting configurations can be easily modified.  Drive flights (cleats) can be inserted or removed at any time.

Positive sprocket drive and tracking with the plastic link style belting eliminates slippage and edge damage.  Conveyor belts are available in widths to fit all DynaClean conveyors.  Varying conveyor belt styles, colors and materials are available. 

Open hinge flat top conveyor belt

  • Smooth, closed upper surface with fully flush edges and recessed rods
  • Cam-link designed hinges - expose more hinge and rod area as belt goes around the sprocket allowing unsurpassed cleaning access to this area
  • Fully sculpted and radius corners - no pockets or sharp corners to catch and hold debris
  • Drive bar channels water and debris to the outside of the belt for easier, faster clean up

Nub top conveyor belt

  • Belt has closed upper surface with fully flush edges and recessed rods
  • Recommended for products large enough to span the distance between the nubs [0.250" (6.35 mm)]
  • Standard nub indent is 1.3" (33 mm)
  • Polypropylene, polyethylene or acetal 
  • FDA approved
  • Optional high-quality rust-proof detectable fibers added to allow the belt to be detected by the most commonly used metal detectors
